Emiliano Diaz de Leon, Primary Prevention Specialist

Emiliano is one of TAASA’s primary prevention specialists. Before joining TAASA’s team, he lived in Harlingen, Texas, where he worked at Family Crisis Center as a children’s advocate and then a volunteer coordinator. Later he worked at Casa de Proyecto Libertad as an immigrant rights legal advocate. In 2003, he founded the Men’s Resource Center of South Texas, also in Harlingen. Emiliano is a native of Austin, and he worked as a children’s advocate at SafePlace for five years.
