TAASA Executive Director Annette Burrhus-Clay was recently interviewed by the San Antonio Express-News on the impact of Jessica’s Law.

Q: What’s your take on the big political push to increase penalties for child sex offenders following the murder of 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford of Florida?

A: We are incredibly grateful that we have legislators who are starting to take this issue very seriously and are wanting to take some proactive steps. We hope it just doesn’t stop with this.
