As the 85th Legislature picks up steam, please mark your calendars on February 14 for the biannual Capitol Day hosted by the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault (TAASA) and the Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV).
Date: February 14, 2017
Location: Texas Capitol – South Steps Austin, TX
With our state’s budget writers hard at work, this is our opportunity to make our voices heard in support of full funding for rape crisis centers and family violence programs. We’ll kick things off with a rally and press conference on the Capitol steps, gather for a briefing from TAASA and TCFV staff, and enjoy some food and entertainment before heading inside to visit with legislators. We hope you’ll join us!
